The Wood Norton is proud to unveil the Lounge & Terrace Menu — a bold new direction in our culinary story, curated by our Culinary Director, Michelin-starred chef Glynn Purnell. Known affectionately as the Yummy Brummie and familiar from Saturday Kitchen and Great British Menu, Glynn brings his signature creativity to this relaxed countryside setting.

And in a delightful nod to our heritage, this Mediterranean-style dining takes on added meaning: The Wood Norton was once the wedding venue of Princess Louise of Orléans, grandmother to King Juan Carlos of Spain, tying our history beautifully into the spirit of this new offering.

Inspired by Spanish tapas and designed for informal, sociable dining, the menu features an enticing selection of snacks, small plates, and sharing dishes — perfect for leisurely lunches or laid-back evening meals on the terrace.

Available to residents and non-residents, expect punchy, flavour-forward combinations like Gambas Pil Pil, Albondigas in rich tomato sauce, and Roast Cauliflower with spiced chickpeas — all designed for grazing and sharing with friends.
