Waymarked with the distinctive ‘Round Evesham Walk’ discs, this wonderful walk takes you on a tour of our local town. Starting at The Almonry, pause at the iconic Abbey ruins, admire the Bell Tower and take in the majesty of the River Avon. Look out for interesting wildlife along the river banks and the Vale of Evesham orchids.

There are six circular walks around the Vale of Evesham, all designed, waymarked and managed by the local ramblers group. These provide the perfect way to get out and explore Evesham Vale and all it has to offer. Whether you’d prefer a riverside ramble or a wander between National Trust sites, there’s a walk for you.

On the edge of the Coswolds, the charming village of Broadway is a wonderful place for a wander. This enchanting trail heads through the bustling high street before briefly joining the Cotswolds Way as it heads up to the intriguing Broadway Tower.Here, you’ll find spectacular views across the Severn Vale and into Wales.

10 miles, moderate

Bredon Hill stands proudly as a lone hill between the Severn Valley and the Vale of Evesham, making for outstanding views from the top. This day hike starts in the picturesque village of Elmley Castle and heads up gradually to Bredon Hill, so be prepared for plenty of uphill walking. The rewards are well worth it - an Iron Age fort, a tower folly and stunning 360 vistas over the Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds. See if you can spot the Wood Norton too.
