Gin Tasting & Dinner Experience

Join us for an intimate evening by Glynn Purnell, Culinary Director at The Wood Norton and one of the UK’s most respected chefs, known for his Michelin-starred cooking and appearances on Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen.
In partnership with Hentony Gin of Evesham, this relaxed, small-scale event brings together artisan spirits and thoughtful cooking, with dishes designed to reflect the flavours and botanicals found within the gins.
Limited to just 20 guests, the evening begins with a guided gin tasting in the Terrace Lounge, before guests come together for dinner in the Boardroom.

The evening at a glance
From 6pm:
Gin Tasting in Terrace Lounge
Begin with a classic G&T, followed by a second full-size serve selected from Hentony’s range. The tasting will explore Hentony gins alongside selected comparisons, with discussion around flavour profiles, botanicals and distillation techniques.
Canapés and breadsticks will be served throughout.
Dinner in The Boardroom
Guests will then enjoy a three-course set-dinner menu, designed by Glynn Purnell. Dishes will be created to complement the spirits, either through the use of the gins themselves or by incorporating key botanicals and ingredients found within them.
During dinner, Glynn will introduce the menu and each couple will receive a copy of his book, There and Back Again.
(Please note: dinner will be served with all guests dining together around one table.)
Featured Spirits & Flavour Profiles
London Dry Gin – pink, black and Szechuan pepper, grapefruit and lime
Black Lime & Lemon Gin – black lime, lemon, kaffir lime leaf and lemongrass
Honey Old Tom Gin – honey and black pepper
Amber Rum – spiced, aged rum with notes of plum, nutmeg and cinnamon
