Worcester Warriors

Worcester Warriors Rugby Club is our most newest and famous sporting club.  Currently competing in the Aviva Rugby Union Premiership against some of the best players in world rugby.  Match Games are held either on a Friday evening or a Saturday daytime

Sixways Stadium home to Worecster Warriors is located just a 15 minute drive from the hotel

 

Cheltenham Racecourse

Most famous for being the home of The Festival in March each year all more commonly know as Gold Cup Week.  Cheltenham Racecourse is one of the largest local courses with a continued success and development of British horseracing.

Cheltenham Racecourse is set in beautiful countryside with spectacular views and is proud of being the Home of Jump Racing

 

Worcestershire County Cricket Club

New road has recently been names as one of the most picturesque cricket grounds in the world.  The club is one of 18 major county clubs and has a rich history within the English and Welsh cricket scene.  The club was formed back in 1865 and is currently a first division club.

 

Worcester Racecourse

Worcester Racecourse set in the heart of the city of Worcester is one of Britain's oldest racecourses, where racing has been taking place since 1718.  With it's picturesue tree-lined track and unique position nestling on the banks of the River Severn, Worecster Racecourse offers a great day out for al the family.

 

Stratford Racecourse 

"The Course upon this most beautiful Meadow (allowed to be one of the finest in the Kingdom) has been altered and made greatly more convenient and agreeable both for Horses and Spectators. Indeed, there was very little Occasion for Art where Nature has been so lavish of her Bounties; the Stream of the Surrounding Avon, the verdant lawns, and the rising Hills and Woods form a Scene too delicious for Description."

As per the words used to describe the Jubilee Cup run on shottery Meadow, in 1769.

In the 20th Century Races at Stratford Racecourse have had many changes with vast improvements taking place on the track and to the amenties, securing it's place as one of the leading race courses within the area.  A great Characteristic of Stratford Racecourse has always been the friendly way in which it draws its race-goers into participation in the pleasures of racing, and the course enjoys a unique spirit.
